14 June 2016
Join us for an evening of conversation and inspiration.
This salon will bring together a small group of curious, creative, and ambitious people to make new connections, share ideas, and spark unexpected projects and experiments.
Already, we’ve had interest from people in fields as diverse as aerospace engineering to puppeteering.
The night will begin with a quick, informal round of introductions – who you are, what you do (or want to do), and what you hope to get out of the event. There will then be time to talk a little more in depth about any projects which particularly provoke interest within the group.
From there, you will be free to circulate around the room and, over a few drinks, talk to whoever you wish, about whatever you wish.
You might be an artist looking to work with a scientist, an explorer in need of a filmmaker, or you may just need a fresh perspective on your current project – whatever your discipline or creative desire, let us help you kick off that collaboration.
This salon is part of a regular series of informal networking events aimed at bringing people together to initiate new creative outputs. A selection of these outputs will, in turn, be showcased by us through future exhibitions, publications, performances, other.
Each salon will be limited to a maximum of 30 people, and in order that everyone get the most out of it, we ask that you please come prepared to meet and mingle with new and previously-unknown people.
